Being a key member of the commercial division, responsible for leading the PR & brand communications team in continuously develop and enhance brand image; implement comprehensive communications plan to build the brand’s reputation and ensuring effective media coverage.
Job Responsibilities
- Report to Chief Commercial & Strategy Officer;
- Formulate and implement PR & Communications strategies and business partnership in alignment with the marketing plan, corporate policy and compliance for the achievement of business goals and targets;
- Plan and manage PR and Advertising (ATL Print & OOH) plans and budget;
- Plan and organize media events and corporate affairs including road show, press conferences, media tours, editorial shootings, influencer marketing, executive interviews, etc;
- Establish and maintain strong relations with media, celebrities and KOLs to attain media pitch for the optimization of brand exposure with measurable results;
- Manage and work closely with internal and external parties to ensure all PR activities are align with brand values;
- Explore sponsorship & JP opportunities and ideas with external partners to enhance brand awareness & exposure;
- Develop creative and high quality PR & communications contents for different communications, from initial writing brief to publication, including but not limited to press release, press materials for business initiatives, product and service launch and executive interviews; corporate and marketing collateral, speech, presentation material, factsheet and newsletter;
- Strengthen the brand through active exploration of relevant media angles, media pitching and media exposure opportunities;
- Manage bilingual translation of the corporate content;
- Manage media relations and all media communications and engagement activities;
- Monitor emerging issues on media, anticipate market reactions to minimize negative publicity, and manage media enquiries and responses around crisis situations;
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements
- University degree or above in PR, communications, marketing, journalism or related discipline Minimum 8 years of experience in public relations and brand communications, preferably in the beauty and skin care / luxury retail industry;
- Strong network and connection with media, KOLs and celebrities of the related field;
- Demonstrates good event management skills and experience
- Self-motivated, multi-tasking and result-oriented;
- A good team player with positive mindset, detail-oriented, self-motivated and creative;
- Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Hands-on experience in content development & copywriting;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese with exceptional bilingual writing skills is a must;
- Willing to explore and breakthrough from comfort zones with can-do attitude, passionate with an innovative mind;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing.
